View all commentsI know it isnt, but that bug almost feels like a pointed attack... last build i complained about the logistics of fast travel after passing the wall, now fast travel is completely disabled after and while encountering the first divine, even as the wait for the next update starts. If i want to elaborate on a lore-accurate system, i would go with a physical relay point that moves along the front lines. If unprotected, gives the enemy a direct line past your front, but gives a leader more freedom.
It wasnt really an issue back when the only characters to deal with were the hero's party, but as your base of operations in the war constantly changes as you push further, travel becomes ever more cumbersome and just highlights how empty the newer maps feel for now. The book can warp you just about anywhere in the castle, but you have to manually walk to the wall or heartland town without warps. It is actually more convenient to hold prisoners in the castle prison you can directly warp to.
The same can be said for the castle war room, which makes even more lore sense than changing it constantly what with the little lore is established about the pocket dimension. If the pocket dimension does a better job of keeping prying eyes away, why plan in the comparatively open military offices? The only lore benefit moving bases has is staying close to the front lines for further pushes and sudden developments.
I know warping is supposed to be limited in lore, but what is stopping the dark lord from making each new base a warp relay station with portal keys or something? It wouldnt ruin the war tactics reason for the banning if the warp locations had to be manually established and only functioned on the small scale of a few people and no cargo at a time...

New playthrough, new bug found. If your show of strength to Eistos is done through misaki and you started the conversation from the side, the persuing strikes make him back up into the line of his guards and generally break the scene, and with exactly 2 steps back, when it comes time for the guards to flee, one will have nowhere to go and softlock the game.
Now with the potential to fully corrupt one before starting the other, i had to check. I cant tell if it is a bug or not, but rina will not participate in battles directly started from the war room, most notably the capture of towns relevant to yukiko. I have not checked the inverse yet, but i assume the same to be true. Equally, there is no base facility to free heal them, as they only follow once you leave the castle itself, and re-supplies stop once misaki is corrupted.
how to do the first task?
Tutorial? talk to romanos, find the sparkle, follow the instructions from there. Everything else seems pretty self explanatory.
A bug with the new update: fully corrupting only a single prisoner and getting a prison scene to trigger despite none that exist turns the player character invisible and removes following characters, even when loading new maps. the only fix is to see the escape scene for the remaining prisoner to rematerialize the player, and navigating to that point can be difficult without using book warps to reset your position and plan blind movement.

This is the type of game where you pay no mind to the combat in general. The Combat is pretty bland overall... However, I actually liked the story quite a lot. Some parts in this game did have my chuckling even if short term so I'd say the game does Decent.
