Comments and advices on the walkthrough for Smallwood porn game:
View all commentsAn enjoyable game so far, but the font choice and presentation makes it more difficult to play. Options to select font size and text window colour/opacity would be appreciated. Failing that, at least increase the font size 1.5-2x.
Text could use a little more contrast. I respectfully suggest to try use a colour for the transparent background of the letters, oposite to the colour used to the letters themselves. To make reading the text a bit easier.
Slow burn it is, but that's not a defect here. Let's be honest. If Clark Kent was the average serial-rapist with super-powers since the first moment of the game, there would be no way for he to feel like any kind of Clark Kent. People who wrote this game know the character, better than Mr Bill from Kill Bill. And not this or that version, the core comic book Superman.
Nice game, so far. Art style is pretty, story seems consistent, the parents are that decent and honest couple of farmers that they should ideally be, and many versions of that story got painfully wrong. For a porn parody, it is great. Better than many "serious" versions of Superman and his Earthling family. Congratulations. The porn part starts slow, but that seems intentional and is a matter of personal taste.
So is this Smallwood or Smallville? It's pretty obvious what this is parodying, but the characters are rather inconsistent in their use of the town's name. If you're gonna use everyone's regular names from the original show(s), you might as well just go with "Smallville" and skip the lame parallel porno titles.
Save yourself the time playing this and just look at the thumbnails underneath. That's all you're going to get if that's what you came for.
The transitions between scenes are bad. To many blank/black page.s No need to draw them out. If the scene is not finished, used dots to indicate status. Furthermore, the text is slow, even though I have put text at maximum speed.
