The whole scenario with the wooden dummy attacking Karina is odd. The MC doesn't seem incredibly freaked out and doesn't try to tell anyone. He doesn't go to the shop warning his employer that the manikins are dangerous. He doesn't call the police officer he knows. It just seems like a point that's being glossed over. The charm that makes him accept unusual situations is a possible explanation--for his calmness, anyway.

Joeboo, and others who get lag then crash? Issue is part of the 'detail' This game has high load animated scenes. Sometimes close together. So if you click through or 'skip' too fast when these come up, it will error it and lock the game. Gotta click slow. If game lags, do not click. Let the animation fully load and cycle. Most notable if no text does not instantly appear after a click.
there are many crashes/blackscreens happen at different points in the gameplay... I recently experienced similar ones in other games aswell... probably a Renpy bug?
