Mr Daddy, It should mean moral corruption. I think the dev doesn't really use it that well. It is usually used for one's moral corruption to sinning and so on. Treating someone bad shouldn't make them more likely to do immoral things, maybe plot to do stuff behind your back but you could argue it is justified and not immoral.
I agree with Whyam I typing this in this site, The author is using that word more along the lines of "deprecation" or "self-deprecation"
