View all commentsThe update made it blatant the game changes hands. The scene composition is different and feels more awkward and choppy. Visuals and audio jumps between somewhat similar to noticably worse. Diologue is noticably rushed and simply not proof read to ensure it reads well, along with gramatical errors that never appeared previously. There are some positives in the animations, but overall, the authors promice of the newbies making it better falls short.
DH, When I say the scenes feel rushed, HOLY it got worse. It feels like not only were they rushed to completion, but WE are being rushed through each scene at a breakneck pace, and trying to shove the necessary diologue in is probably what makes it read so poorly. Even the character designs seem rushed. To be clear, it's still better than much of the garbage on this site, but a massive downturn in quality compared to what the OG creator did.
DH, Yeah, played a bit more, and got to the new "tournament" scene, and I'm done. Literally saw sparring, got signed up for a tournament, tournament started, tournament done, we lose in the finals, all in less than 30 seconds. Never has a game gone so quickly from a favorite to unplayable, but what would've been an in-dpeth set of fight scenes is now a couple 2-4 picture fights. I genuinely think the new people lied to the OC, and are using the games following as a cash-cow.
I already said it, but I love the musics.
Can't wait to see the continuation. It's thrilling.
