Actually now I've found the way, you should keep you home in Harshville and sleep there then the next morning you can find Jan Sadler outside her house in Pleasantville. Anyway there's a bug that makes you become again a slave automatically and in a strange way when you talk to Danica in the south east of the town...

I figured out how to get past the slum area without going into slavery, Forget about making the 100 money for rent. Just get ur reputation up and don't let your hunger fall. doing you job completely twice should get you 10 rep points then ya just sleep 3ish times to make your reputation go up by 2 points each then you should have the minimum 15 to pass. don't lick ur boss btw just get fired
guy, once ya pass that just go to the mines, save then keep restarting until you get gold and then silver+ then go to the restaurant and talk to the lady about gettin your reptuation up. then you should be able to work as a waiter and just make money that wait. then it's just earning money

scatfanj, Just save the game and exit then hit continue. as long as you don't close the window ur playing everything on, the continue option should still be there. (right click to find the save and exist game options.)
Im submissive myself and I find this game very exciting from the POV of subs... may be you should put an easy way to get the master path for the dominant people here, I think you are missing that group. One other think, What are diferences btw vers 3 and 5. The bugs are just the same but once again greate game in the old fashioned school.
My only problem with the game is the half finished story arcs. The black widow jobs are not implemented, the landlord romantic storyline, buying slaves, upgrading a home, leveling..... oh and the creator has a huge foot fetish and also seems to edge toward the submissive side of the story arcs.

Sportfreak, If you NEVER belittle yourself, it can be done by day 3-4. Every overnight sleep in the apartment gives +2, but it is up to you to figure out the right dialog options to get the rest. There is likely a day you can do nothing but sleep is you really want rep. after 15, they hand it out almost for free.

Impossible to get anywhere in this game. I raise my status above 15 and get hurt in the mine my first time working. No way to recover because I have no money. I play a second time and become slave. I get hurt in mine again and owner beats me to add to my pain. No way to recover. Game sucks as is.

Just use the "yum-yum" (kek) for stamina/mp & the heal in the skills for hunger/hp & just mine over & over for bits, "survival" huh.
also ya can just have the yum over & over if ya just slap her for saying you've already had one today & as long as ya hp in the menu is up then ya "hunger " up in the right can go into the minuses dont fret.
