Someone, haha, defense works differently now. If you could choose pdef / mdef when leveling up, you'd be immortal pretty quick. Now defense is reliant on your armor, making armor more relevant than before, upgrades important, and easier to balance RPG battles.

llexm, The option appears in Chapter 3. It's just been a long process between taking care of a baby and trying to write enough content for each update. The next paid update will have a few scenes with Rhelyla using the transform skill. So for free players, that will be available on February 3rd.

Gamer 68, Your notebook should offer hints on where to go. But it sounds like you are in the mountains during the day. If so, you either need to find the Spider Queen, or you need to start the quest to get the dress Azrael tasked you with (then find the spider queen).
For now, i agree the gender choice is mostly pointless, but i also see potential for an "act 2" of sorts that can entirely fix the problem by returning to your old life (but now with powers).
Illusion spell book is found by asking the tutorial/lore questions with the friendly succubus and is REQUIRED to hide your demonic traits that appear through level up. Transform is found by exploring the worn books in the middle district and finishing the event, which allows you to use charm on un-charm-able enemies when successful. Finally, charm is mastered through mentorship with the succubus, but it takes a while. All remaining spells are elemental damage.

Nonexistent, i had that happen to me the other day, played this getting my lvl up to 8 & beat that Demon King Boss (aside from also noticing that ur character gets demon horns around lvl 6 due to transforming) before the next moment i knew? Boom!! got jumped upon by the Holy Guard Church Knight Squad & got a Game Over due to 1 of em instakilling me *Dead* after about only 6+ hrs in. >_>

Get hungry and go to brothel to start working there, and keep an eye on your player quote to see how far they have embraced their new succubus role, eventually letting you do sex actions willingly without the need for hunger.

Lucifer, It is called a backstory. You know the thing that happens before the actual story starts. It enhances the character and allows you to empathise with the trials of the protagonist as a normal human would to relate more to the character if they share some of the same traits. In this instance I would bet were this to actually happen there would be quite a few whiny ass Kevins bemoaning their new existance. Thankfully we can rest easy this is a work of fiction, right? We do understand that.
