braindrain, agree completely. If you are going to control a character you should be able to decide what they do and don't do and with who.
Rocky, there are choices, but a lot of them won't change the outcome, my biggest gripe though are the free scenes, where the character decide what to do for you, and there's a ton of them, you can still say no here and there, but mostly it's up to developer's desires
