Okay so this is how you beat the killer 100 percent, first you get out of the basement, next you go to the car and find the dead body, next you want to listen to their convo, after that go to the car again and inspect the dead body once more and you will find a knife. Turn off the power, don't attack him just yet wait for him to inspect the trunk of the car and then attack him. Then go to the house and kill the mom right away she has a gun and wants to kill you. Your welcome :)
THEMAN, You could also enter the house from behind, find key, bullet and shotgun (don't forget to quick save before entering the house the key and bullet are in the dresser the shotgun are in the closet at the top
THEMAN, you can also go to other line of story (if you dont drink vodka at the party before) you knocked him out

Bhanu, listen to th convo between them at the front window then wait for mom to go to bed, sneak in and get the keys for the tractor then open the electric box and get the trap and turn off the power set the trap and go in and get more keys go out and hide, shoot his mom through the window then get the girls
