is it possible to size the window
romucort, to resize a window, begin by removing the old window. For brick houses, use a hammer or pry bar to remove the trim around the window, then carefully lift out the windowpane, making sure to remove any screws or caulking that are securing it. In wooden houses, the process is similar, but the window frame may be lighter and easier to lift out. After removing the old window, measure the opening to ensure the new window fits correctly....
...Apply a layer of caulk around the edges of the window opening to create a weatherproof seal. Place the new window in the opening and secure it with screws for brick houses or nails for wooden houses, ensuring it's level and properly aligned. Add insulation if necessary around the edges to prevent drafts. Finally, reinstall or add new trim around the window, then apply additional caulking around the edges for a secure, airtight seal.
