It's not BAD. The writing is very clever. It's just... nothing HAPPENS. I'm deep into day 4 now, and I'm still wondering when it's going to HAPPEN. For a brief moment, during day 3, when we went to rescue Mary, I thought "OK, finally, it's happening!" But that got resolved so quick, it was anticlimactic. Then back to nothing happening. A game needs to have some sort of object. Some sort of mission to accomplish. This has none. So what's the point?
Ha! A plug for Karlsson's Gambit! THAT is one of the best games on Gamcore. MUCH better than this one... KG is WAAAAAY overdue for an update, though...

a game about the 2 luckiest junkies in the world. all three should have been turning tricks to get their fixes, not this happy go lucky BS. It's a dark, grim, nasty world they're in, and this almost glamorizes it.
I was already getting bored after day 3, but Lydia and her constant jabs and insults is making it impossible to continue. Could you have written a more insufferable character? Maybe have her periodically try to light the MC on fire, or perhaps she could throw her feces around the room like a monkey at the zoo? Not every line of dialogue needs to be followed up with her calling him names. At that frequency it is neither cute, playful, or endearing - just incredibly irritating.
