a little tip for those who cant beat up any enemys: at the start of a new enemy spam dodge try to notice little differences in the animation (for example: the monkey grabs what looks like new bananas after an attack) they wont attack the next attack and you are free to hit them
Rng is annoying and inconsistent. Even if I dodge most attacks I still fail cause I only ever deal 0-8 damage. I would prefer a consistent 4 or 5 instead of most of my hits be zeros and only beat things because of the random/ lucky 10.
F, have you tried timing your attacks? If you time it right before you attack you do big dmg to them and take little to no dmg back
Maybe you need to hire a better animator.
