Bender69, Bad reviews because its obviously AI slop. The art style is completely inconsistent. The characters will look completely different from one image to another. Mr. Thorne particularly is all over the place. Sometimes he clean shave, other times it looks like hes never touched a razor in his life. Hair styles will change randomly, and I'm pretty sure Mr. Thorne even turned black in one image when hes white in all the other ones.
Is it just me or does Mr. Thorne bear an uncanny resemblance to the Mayor from Cloudy with a chance of meatballs? 😜
Taste is a very personal thing. I believe the people who left those very positive comments really liked the game. To me it feels a bit too slow and full of pointless cuts in the narrative. I tried to keep playing long enough to understand some of the story and failed. Visual identity is cute enough, but the pace is very, very, slow.
It just so happens to be that all positive comments are from Netherlands, shit game.
