The whole back story at the beginning can probably be dropped. It's confusing and i think it gets muddled when you start the real-time story... it just doesn't make sense. Too complex. Don't put it all in one monologue. Start your game/novel and tell it as you go.
Restarted it now randomly quits. Give this one a wide berth. Another one for the garbage pile.
